How to use a crosscut saw – US Forest Service

This is a great video showing how to use and carry a crosscut saw safely.  I like the fact that the US Forest Service does this.  I'm not sure why they still use these saws, but then again they are reliable!

Portland Street Tree Issues

Trees within the public rights-of-way of the City of Portland are considered the property of the City.  However, the City Code (Title 11) transfers management of the trees, and liability for any damage caused by them to 'the most adjacent property owner'.  How then should property owners deal with this situation.
